Elizabeth Ito grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from high school in 1997. Then she graduated from UCLA 3 years after that with a B.A. in English Literature. Then finally, in 2004, she graduated from the Cal Arts Character Animation Program. Then she had to get a job…
While at Cal Arts, Elizabeth produced six shorts, a few which are available for viewing on YouTube, and which have received some very nice comments thus far. Her most notable short, Welcome to My Life, was nominated for a Student Academy Award, won the Producer’s Choice Award in the very first NickToons Film Festival, and has been shown at many other festivals nationwide. Also while a student at Cal Arts, Elizabeth designed the Mister Monster vinyl doll, which was sold worldwide.
Elizabeth has been in a lot of gallery shows, mostly in Los Angeles, but also in New York, San Francisco, and Seattle. She would love to be in more gallery shows … feel free to ask her- she will most likely say yes… unless she is swamped at her day job- |
